Back to God

Back to God is the founding work of the collection that bears its name - the piece from which everything else in this body of work grew. Rendered entirely in graphite on 22 × 30 inch archival paper, it portrays a girl in a state of brokenness, her back turned away from God. It is a portrait of fracture and distance - and ultimately, of return. The work holds both the weight of that turning away and the quiet grace of coming back.

Presented in a custom-built walnut light box frame with embedded LED strips, the piece becomes a luminous presence in any space. Museum-quality non-reflective glass ensures unobstructed viewing from any angle.
