House of David

House of David

House of David is a graphite work with collage elements from the Back to God collection, executed on 22×30 inch archival paper. A large tree fills the entire composition, sheltering five owls, each affixed to the surface as collage elements. The tree is a reference to lineage - the House of David, from which the line of Joseph descended, fulfilling the prophecy of the coming of Jesus Christ.

Presented in a custom-built walnut light box frame with embedded LED strips and museum-quality non-reflective glass.
