The Return

The Return is a graphite work from the Back to God collection, executed on 22×30 inch archival paper. The horse and the girl lie down together - resting at ease after a long journey. It is the same horse from the collection’s opening piece, Back to God. She is no longer running. She has arrived. This is the final work in the collection: the girl resting in the Lord's presence, having come all the way home.
